  • Too many herbs too fast makes you sick;
  • You can send flirty, insulting and break up texts at University;
  • Vending Machines in #TS3UniversityLife might malfunction. You can try shaking it up, but beware of it falling on you;
  • Lectures are not rabbit holes;
  • Plant Sims are going to be in #TS3UniversityLife;
  • The new death is “blunt force trauma” which is basically death by vending machine;
  • No Pets allowed on university campus;
  • No holidays at University (Seasons EP);
  • Yes the holidays are a no. The Seasons are a yes. So there will be snow and rain. But no snowflake day or any other Seasonal Holidays (Seasons EP);
  • Your Sim can be in more than one social group. You can also choose to be anti-social and not be in any;
  • The Bartista for the coffee shop only works behind the counter. It is not a waiter.
  • Each social group in university unlocks a cool item;
  • Your sim is allowed to be in more than 1 Social group;
  • You can level up in your social groups;
  • The 6 majors are: Business, communications, fine arts, science & medicine, technology and physical education;
  • If you graduate with low grades, you don’t get the benefits. You can’t be kicked out of Uni though;
  • You cannot be kicked out of university, but you can lose your scolorship;
  • You can earn and lose scholoraships for those who dont use cheats and need to get scholoraships to get into University;
  • You can stay at university for 8 weeks for one major, you can do multiple majors though;
  •  If you live in a sorority or fraternity you are more likely to be dared to do kegs, and other things;
  • Depending upon your aptitude test, and previous credits the shortest you may be there is one week;
  • If your parents go to a university a babysitter will come and take care of your kids;
  • You can kick out a roommate;
  • New interaction: dares…lots of dares and more often happen in the sorority/fraternity setting;
  • You can have any object in your dorm your that you would wish;
  • Renting out a room is through real estate;
  • You can have a romantic relationship with your professor;
  • You can schmooze with professors to ask for extra credits;
  • You cannot create PlantSims in CAS, there are other multiple ways to create them though;
  • Grades and Skills are important for Teen Sims before getting into University;
  • You can make money at University through the job board, it's a quick daytime task;
  • There are part time jobs, no true carreers or full time jobs at University;
  • Your Sims can create their own comics now and...
  • ...depending on your social status you unlock different levels of dares.

The Sims 3 Store Content Patch Version 2.2

To install this update, please start your game and use the “Downloads” tab in your Launcher. This Store update includes the following changes:

  •  Updated appropriate clothing to be selectable as Outerwear when playing with The Sims 3 Seasons.
  •  Disabled random selection on some pieces of clothing so Sims won’t use them unless specifically directed to.
  •  Fixed an issue where users were not seeing the cake slice that came with the Happily Ever Frosted wedding cake in Monte Vista. 
  •  Fixed an issue where users were missing several Create-A-Sim assets, including the La Dolce Vita Updo and Tuscan Hat from Monte Vista.
*A game restart is required for updates made while the game is running.

The Sims 3 University Life: Waiters & New Death confirmed!

OnGames (a spanish Gaming site) has made a Preview for The Sims 3 University Life. The most interesting part is, waiters will be making their way back in the Barista Lot and the new death which is "being found under a vending machine". That happens when your Sim tries to cheat the system!
You go out to bars, and the expansion features new solar hospitality where waiters serve you, as in The Sims 2. In these new premises can organize parties where you know how you start but how you end up. Who says you do not end up running naked through campus … or dead under a vending machine! Yes, EA has confirmed that there will be new ways to die, as is so bizarre, so watch how you use the machine for snacks.

When we first started talking about what items that would fit well in Aurora Skies, I wanted a big impact item that would really speaks to the romantic aspects of the world. I mean, doesn’t Aurora Skies look like to perfect place to take a date?
 
What could be better than sharing drinks with that special someone while watching the sunset transition into the northern lights? Or proposing in the mist of one of the most spectacular waterfalls the Sims has ever seen? I know… doing all of that while floating above the earth in your Sims very on Hot Air Balloon!
